Friend: “Noel, you seem so calm of late.”
Me: “I am calm. I’ve embraced Inevitablism, the religion of acceptance.”

Inevitablist

One who believes in the inevitable. A really safe “religion” because, by definition, it will come to pass.

Sceptic: “I don’t think the sun will rise tomorrow.”
Me: “Of course it will!”
Sceptic:”Why are you always so confident? Your faith is astounding!”
Me: “I’m an Inevitablist.”
