A techno head is a particular kind of fan of
electronic dance music. As their name indicates they tend to be
particularly fond of techno. Furthermore, they are often quite buttoned down in appearance, and perhaps even somewhat nerdy. They have a deep love of the music, and go to parties for the purpose of hearing the music that they love, rather than to get drunk or high, or even just to go dancing.
They are very particular in terms of their taste and can come across as
pretentious or arrogant, as they will only dance or enjoy themselves at a party if they really appreciate the music being played.
Also, they appreciate discussing the music they love with others who share their love of the music.
