A law of physics generally attributed to Anime, in which breasts move independent of gravity and jiggle absurdly with even the smallest motion.
"Dude, did you see that chick?" "Yeah, she was Gainaxing so bad, I thought she'd get a black eye."
"I would run more often, but not even my sports bra can stop the gainaxing. it really hurts my back."

-noun
1. A term that has come to describe GAINAX's often exaggerated animation of female characters' bouncing breasts. The term has its roots in Gunbuster (Top wo Nerae!), GAINAX's first OVA(1988) with an otaku-focused demographic, in which gainax bounce is found unabated in the three female characters of Noriko, Kazumi, and Jung. Utilization of gainax bounce can still be seen in GAINAX's works, partially as self-reference and self-homage and partially for pure fanservice.
2. Fanservice as it pertains to anime produced by GAINAX, primarily focused on female mammaries.

When an anime decides to build you up and attach you to a character or host of characters, only to violently rip them away from you in the end of the series, leaving you with no closure. It seems Gainax has a knack for producing animes that follow this trend. Neon Genesis Evangelion and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan are a few examples of gainax productions that do this, however you may use the term to describe any anime that does this. Common among mech animes.

An anime related term. The Gainax Bounce refers to the way a female's breasts move when she appears on screen. Usually the breasts are oversized for the body and bounce as if the character has no bra under their clothing.
First seen in the Gunbuster theme song where Noriko Takaya says "High High High" with each high accompanied by a "gainax bounce" of her breasts.
