Another name for My Little Pony.
Some of us Bronies like to address the show as Friendship is Magic instead of saying My Little Pony because people might associate that name with the previous generations of my little pony.
But if you say "hey do you watch Friendship is Magic?" they'll more likely think of the new version instead of associating it with the old girly baby versions.

Or it's just the last name for the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

This is a great show that everyone should watch.

It's very under-rated & deserves more popularity.

A show created by Lauren Faust, which has gained huge amounts of followers on the Internet, outside of the target demographic. These fans are known as bronies. Almost any brony will tell you to watch most of the episodes before judging the show, the creator herself has urged viewers to watch "with an open mind". It is popular for it's above-standard animation, developed characters, and interesting episode plotlines. Many fans also enjoy it for the sense of nostalgia it gives them. The show's creator is also well known for Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

A cartoon series. Popular among 8 year olds and 13-25 year olds, it has become a widely popular internet meme. The characters include party pony Pinkie Pie, country gal Applejack, bookworm unicorn Twilight Sparkle, fashionista Rarity, tomboy racer Rainbow Dash, shy quiet Fluttershy, and baby dragon Spike. The characters discover new things about friendship each day and write about them in a letter to Princess Celestia. It is a cute show with good animation and it's pretty funny too.

My Little Pony: Friendship is magic 

An amazing cartoon whose fan base consists of not only little girls, (and is not limited too...) teenage guys and older known as "bronies". It is well liked for the show's interesting plot lines, well developed characters, and nostalgic feel. Often times Bronies will be ridiculed by idiots who think guys are weird for watching a show with a target demographic of toddlers, but almost all of the time, the ridiculers have never seen one episode and jump to the conclusion that anyone over the age of 13 that watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a loser. This is not true, in fact, many Bronies are often smarter and much better people than losers who insult you for watching the show.

1) If everyone watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, then there would be world peace.

2) If only people would watch an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic before insulting others.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic 

A MLP Television show. It is a spin off of the original 1980's movie/toy/show. This show has a large demographic, because it is seemingly made for 6 year old girls but is very popular among males (not limited to) 13-30 years old. These males are called bronies. People usually give them shit for watching a TV show made for 5 year olds, but most of the people who ridicule them are people who have never watched the show.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic 

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a show that began in 2010. It was aimed toward little girls, but got a fandom of a larger age group, called Bronies. The show was created by Lauren Faust, who worked on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Powerpuff Girls, so she is automatically awesome. The show's fandom has gotten a large amount of criticism from people who consider the older fanbase pedophiles and/or gay. I am a brony myself, but I'm not gonna talk about that. The show features 6 ponies, which includes Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. The names sound unappealing to many people, but the characters are great. The show is on Netflix, for people who want to try it out. And if you don't like it, I don't mind, but don't go "OMG BRONIES ARE GAY".

the greatest show on earth. haters have never seen it. if they've seen it and still hate it, they have no soul. twilight sparkle, applejack, rainbowdash, pinkie pie, rarity, and fluttershy represent everything friendship is. and therefore, magic.
