A term used to describe a person that doesn't follow through on plans that had been made, whether the plans were of important nature or not, there always seems to be a fantastically unbelievable, or stupid, reason behind this person leaving his/her friends hanging. To not follow through is to flail, or leave hangin'. When skills are developed in particular areas, displaying creativity and talent, one is considered an artist. To show skill and creativity in blowing off friends, for a legitimate reason, or from plain laziness, is a Flail Artist.
"I should have known, even though we talked yesterday about how I really needed a ride to work today, he blew me off, I'm sure hes got an awesome excuse, damn it he always does this, hes such a Flail Artist.
