Fishfem
Fishfem is a slang identity term used within the LGBTQ+ community. It refers to a gay person who is attracted to other gay boys who act straight, carry a more traditionally masculine vibe, and aren’t into girls, but may still be socially close with them. The attraction is specifically to their energy—not hyper-feminine, not bi-curious—just a relaxed, straight-passing gay vibe.
It’s not about internalized masculinity or hiding queerness—it’s a unique preference for that low-key, confident, masc-presenting energy within gay relationships.
