One who identifies as a hippie in public, but is not personally committed to their belief system; a "false hippie".

Jarrod's suggestion that "Dave Matthews front a reunited version of the Grateful Dead" was "killer", but his impeccable hygiene revealed he was in fact a fauxppie.

Fauxppleganger

A false “doppelgänger” or look-a-like. A term used to describe a doppelgänger that looks nothing like the original person.

Brad: Hey Mel! Look it’s your doppelgänger *points*
Mel: Doppleganger? More like FAUXPPLEGANGER. She looks nothing like me. You racist AF. Friendship over.

Fauxppleganger

A false doppelgänger or look-alike. A term used to describe someone that is said to look similar to you when in reality they look nothing like the original person in question. This mistake often leads to awkward interactions and questionable racism.

Brad: Hey Mel! Look it’s your doppelgänger!
Mel: Doppelgänger? More like FAUXPPLEGANGER! She looks nothing like me. You’re racist! FRIENDSHIP OVER!
