FOGI

FOGI is the opposite of FOMO - it's Fear of Getting Invited. People who hate crowds, small groups of other people, parties where they know few people and noise, as well as people who are legitimately introverts will often display signs of FOGI.

My FOGI kicked in when my co-worker mentioned that she was having a huge party for her son's tenth birthday next month at Chuck E. Cheese.

FOGI is an abbreviation for "fear of getting involved." It is like the polar opposite of FOMO and typically starts hitting when you are past your 30s.

Person 1: Hey did you go to the new-years party last week at Rachel's place?

Person 2: Dude nooo... It is the same old same old. I got major fogi when I got invited. I spent new-years with my cat.
