When someone of great influence or intellectual prowess falls from grace, most often after their invention or idea bolsters them and they pursue barriers to prevent others from gaining notoriety as well as primarily focus on individual wealth.

Inspired by once famed inventor Thomas Edison who after his prime created nothing new and focused only on patenting his previous inventions to bolster his own individual wealth becoming a laughing stock.
Apple has been edisoned, they used to innovate and come up with new tech that people were excited now all they do is nickel and dime the same product every year.

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
