Derivation: The word comes from one - Matthew Durfee who awed those around him with his magnificence, whose legend was sealed when he single handedly chased away a fatal blizzard/tornado/tsunami/hurricane that threatened to destroy the Americas by staring it down with the evil eye and making it go destroy China instead

(adj) usually used to describe guys. It refers to people who have a sexual charge surrounding them, and often have a look in their eyes that makes the people they look at feel as if they are having sex with them. It is the look in someone's eyes when they want you.

"That guy is so durfy. I think he's really hot."

A person who not only lacks all intelligence but strives to show that in daily activities, sometimes unintentionally a total idiot. Can also be called a Hurfy/Durfy or pulling a Durfy.

The Duffy Effect

When someone befriends the handicapped solely based on the fact that they have a disability. The Duffy Effect involves a person who does not take into consideration that their new handicapped friend may actually be undeserving of friendship.

Katie: "I've always been nice to Ryan, but now he asked me to prom!"

Drew: "The handicapped kid? This is a textbook example of The Duffy Effect! That kid is an asshole anyway."
