Drive-by compliment

A compliment overheard as you are walking past someone but you have no chance to respond thereby left with a missed connection.

She just commented on my new ink. I couldn't respond to her drive-by compliment in that crowd.

Person walking: Thanks!
Driver: Nice on man!
Guy riding shotgun: YOUR A GOOD PERSON GOD LOVES YOU!
Driver: nice drive by complment dude!
