Dogter in Law

After your child has moved out, if he/she buys a dog the dog is your Dogter in Law.

-My son and his girlfriend are coming to visit for Memorial Day and they’re bringing Dixie.
-Who’s Dixie?
-Oh, she’s our Dogter in Law.
