DisrupTech

DisrupTech, short for ‘Disruptive Technology’, refers to any modern innovation (technology) that drastically changes (disrupts) large-scale traditional institutions, industries and paradigms.

Current examples include;

Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Ride Share Services, Internet of Things, Robotic Process Automation, Big Data, Quantum Computing, etc.
The internet was DisrupTech until the early 2000’s.
