Disk Turd 

"Disk turd" refers to a piece of data or information that is particularly useless, unnecessary, or irrelevant, often found cluttering up digital storage spaces.
Every time I clean out my hard drive, I come across dozens of old files that are nothing but disk turds – random screenshots and memes I don't even remember saving.

Disk Turds 

A series of files that are spread throughout a storage device(s) that serve no purpose or are depreciated.
Those files are simply Disk Turds from an app we no longer use, you can delete them.

Disk Turds 

1: Remanent files left behind after uninstalling software.

2: Unnecessary files that waste disk space.
3: Digital clutter, within a file system.
1: Most of your hard drive is disk turds.
2: We pushed out an uninstall package, unfortunately it left behind many disk turds.
3: The disk cleanup utility may cleanup some disk turds.
