A conspiracy theory that republican voters who splintered off from the mainstream MAGA movement who believe that Donald Trump must be abandoned by republicans. This notion is rooted in the belief that Ron DeSantis is the savior of the GOP and conservatism and that he is destined to win the 2024 Presidential election in a landslide victory because he won reelection in Florida by 20 points.

The idea that Ron DeSantis will obviously fair better in a general election is a conspiracy boosted by DeSantanon.
