dBstroy 

(verb) The act of amplifying the volume decibel level of music or sound clips to produce loud, incoherent buzzing noises, often to hurt one's ears in a comedic way; "dB" being the symbol for "decibel", with the added suffix "-stroy" to make it sound like "destroy", as that is exactly what happens to the sounds. Similar if not the same as bass boosting and ear rape.

"Dude, if you dbstroy Who That Be, it sounds funny!"
"Ouch, that sound effect was dbstroyed and hurt my ears."
