(acronym) Capitalized On What Happened On Purpose
Many classical historical events have shown this in effect. How many times has insider trading benefited those that capitalized on what happened on purpose? Or how many people have suffered because of the few that capitalize on what happened on purpose?
Mostly used inside the "insider trading" markets

Gaining power/wealth/influence/<insert your fave denomination here> rather than, you know, do the right thing.

You coulda bought a round of drinks, but capitalized on the fact that you knew if went to toilet now, someone else would buy them for you. It's an ever so subtle yet in your face kinda thing.
You wouldn't ordinarily see it, unless you were aware of such things kinda thing.
If you are not aware of such things, this makes you an OK person by my books, keep up the good work, just don't cowhop me please!
