Circadian Barrel Roll
The deliberate or accidental process of resetting a completely inverted sleep schedule by staying up progressively later each day, rotating the sleep window 360 degrees around the clock until a conventional nighttime sleep schedule is achieved. Typically utilized by extreme night owls whose natural circadian rhythm is significantly longer than 24 hours.
"I've been going to sleep at 6:00 AM all week, so instead of trying to force myself to bed early tonight, I'm initiating a circadian barrel roll by staying up until noon tomorrow until I spin all the way back to a normal bedtime."
