Chomusapiens 

A “Chomusapiens” is a colloquial term referring to an individual who, prior to marriage, exhibited a strong sense of independence and free will, but has since become deeply reliant on their spouse, often to the extent of being inseparable. A Chomusapiens can frequently be found engaging in traditionally supportive roles such as carrying their spouse’s shopping bags at malls and managing her shopping lists. The term captures the transformative influence of marriage on personal behaviors and lifestyle.

Sudarshan, once an incredibly independent and free-spirited individual, used to be the life of our friend group. However, after marriage, he’s transformed into a Chomusapiens to such a degree that he barely picks up his friends’ calls
