Chatlighted

Using ChatGPT or AI technology to manipulate, mislead, or confuse someone through artificial communication with the intention of making them think information came directly from the human being, when in fact it didn’t.

I got a weird thank you note from my manager, but found out he didn’t write it, he told me he used ChatGPT to write it…dude, I was chatlighted.

Chatfighters

Two (or more) people who fight on a group chat instead of their own personal text. Usually annoying, but can provide great entertainment to other members of the chat. They are usually good friends but can just get FIRED UP at each other.

Josie- "Oh, it looks like Tanvi and Wesley are going off on each other again."

Cole- "What a bunch of chatfighters."

Chatlighting

The act of deliberately prompting, steering, or reframing questions to an AI (especially ChatGPT) in order to elicit a desired answer, validation, or confirmation—often by selectively presenting information, omitting context, or repeatedly rephrasing until the response aligns with one’s preferred outcome.

He was clearly chatlighting the model until it agreed with his argument.
