A person who exhibits an excessive, compulsive dependence on their mobile phone, often to the point where it negatively impacts their personal relationships, productivity, or overall well-being. A cellulomaniac may frequently prioritize screen time over face-to-face interactions, becoming overly absorbed in social media, messaging, or digital content.

Despite being surrounded by friends, she couldn’t help but act like a cellulomaniac, constantly checking her phone instead of engaging in conversation.
