CHWM stands for “Cisgender Heterosexual White Male” or “Cis Hetero White Male”. The plural applies as CHWMs meaning “Cisgender Heterosexual White Males”.
This term is often used to describe older male Karens (aka Richards or Brads), old racist men, or Trump supporters and/or other men who believe that COVID-19 isn’t real and they don’t have to wear a mask.
This term can also be used to describe a CHWM who is actually standing up for the right thing in the midst of other CHWMs who are trying to stand or fight for the wrong side of history.

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
