“Bridgette is a girl who loves to laugh. She's kind and an amazing listener, who gives the best advice. Bridgette is always there for her friends, even when they aren't there for her. Bridgette is intelligent. She has a very good score in all her classes and generously offers to help others bring up their grades. She does charity work and volunteers often. Bridgette is a kind girl who always thinks of others before herself. She is sweet, adorable, tall, funny, and beautiful inside and out. Bridgette has a sense of humor but only when you let her use it. She's definitely a keeper and can make your day just by her smile. Bridgette is one of the most loyal people you can find, won't let anyone bring her down, stays to her morals, and loves making people laugh. She can sometimes be shy but once you get to know her, you will have a hard time keeping her quiet. Bridgette is great.”

One that burns bridges with those that have low self esteem. Usually an attempt to sever all communication with the person so that they will not bring the Bridgette down. Bridgettes are noble and respectful people with spines as tough as steel.

An alternative spelling for the Anglo-American name Bridget. It is a style that appears French, and therefore sophisticated, in the eyes of Francophiles. They especially enjoy pronouncing it as the phoenetic Bridge-ott, with a subtle air of cultural superiority.
My name is Bridgette and I'm French. Why else would I be wearing this ridiculous hat? I have a reservation for eight o'clock, and I'm better than you. Now get me my table or I will taunt you a second time.
