Banter Wagon 

A car, usually cheap and aged, a first vehicle for most, which is often used with the driver's mates as passengers.
Can be found in most McDonald's car parks starting on the second or third try with six people in the back.
Thomas: Just fixed the Banter Wagon, anyone want to come out?
Jake: Yes, I'll bring the boys, let's do some handbrake turns in the car park!
Thomas: Say no more!

Banter-wagon 

Another term for a bus, used mainly when returning from the pub/parties.

Can also be used to describe a hot new ride.
1) "The wheels on the Banter-wagon go round and round..."

2) "We run 'em over in our Banter-wagon!"

Driving the banter wagon

like 'hopping on the band wagon'.

-Apart from the desired person is driving the band wagon, i.e. leading the group.

-Further stretched to 'banter wagon'

(purely for the banter)
'oi...oi boys...im drivin this banter wagon straight to the kingy.'

'mate, pete is Driving the banter wagon ... and i like its destination!'
