The Bergen County High School for Jewish Studies. A supplementary regional Hebrew high school for students in grades 8-12. In addition to the weekly Sunday classes, the school also privides a variety of trips and weekend retreats (shabbatons)throughout the school year and a trip to Israel. The school gives the students a strong background on their jewish heritage, and tries to instill certain values. Those being Klal Yisrael (Jewish pluralism), Tikkun Olam (Mending the world), Derech Eretz (Respect for others), and Ahavat Yisrael (Love of Israel).

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
