Auto Vampire

Someone who enjoys drinking his or her own blood, often by deliberately wounding him/herself at the base of the tongue in order to suck at these wounds and swallow the blood. This practice is known as "auto vampirism". See Auto Vampirism.

He's been diagnosed with Renfield's Syndrome and is an auto vampire.

Auto Vampirism

Cases in which an individual enjoys drinking his or her own blood, such as by deliberately wounding him/herself at the base of the tongue in order to suck at these wounds and swallow the blood.

This can be one of the symptoms of Renfield's Syndrome, (named after Stoker's character) AKA clinical vampirism.

Although he's diagnosed with Renfield's Syndrome, he's into auto vampirism instead of ingesting someone else's blood.

An autovampire is a person who enjoys sucking blood, like a vampire, but unlike a vampire, they suck their own blood.

An autovampire can be a person who bites the inside of their cheek or lip simply out of thirst, or sucks the blood out of thier own wounds.

Autovampirism is the act of one being attracted to tasting or licking their own blood. Particularly could bite the tip of their tongue and take up the blood or take the blood of a partner during intimacy.
