When a literary, television, movie, internet, or other source implements a person from African American descent as well as a person from Asian Amercian descent to promote diversity without heavily impacting the story line. They are often closely tied to each other and will occasionally shadow a prominent character.
Just a few quick examples of when the asiack effect is used in television:
Gossip Girl: Isabel Coates and Kati Farkas
Hannah Montanta: Amber Addison and Ashley Dewitt
Dexter's Laboratory: Mee Mee and Lee Lee
A series of stop-motion animations featuring an Asian student spinning around in mid-air like a helicopter. They’re typically accompanied by the orchestral version of the Main theme of Final Fantasy VII, a popular 90s action RPG game.
It is very cute to have Asiakopouls in the room because she brings hope to us.
A last name some cute greek girl has that many other girls have. People faint on how cute asiakopoulos is... shes 5'0 and a half.
And dying in yo' bed many years from now, would ya be willing ta trade all da days from dis here day ta dat fo' one chance, just one chance, ta come back here as young men an' tell our enemies dat dey may take our lives but dey will never take our freedom ... YUB NUB!
The Bar came before the movie. It is an awesome bar where the girls know how to party and make you feel okay about giving up your money, drawers, bras, and dignity.
2. Movie
A story about a Jersey girl following her dreams, aided by working at this bar in New York.
3. Situation/Person/Decision
See other definitions - waking up next to someone so ugly you'd rather chew your arm off than wake them up.
1. Yo, Coyote Ugly is my favorite bar! I got whipped, stripped, drunk, and danced on the bar all before 7 o'clock!
2. Hey did you see Coyote Ugly? It actually has a plot!
A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
