Artilect

A neologism created by Hugo de Garis that means "artificial intellect". Basically a cool word for AI.

If we put a chip in our brains a million times more intelligent than us, we become a cool cyborg; but if we develop AI tecnology long enough we will create an Artilect. For such a being we will create war amongst ourselves, for it will be our new god. Thus, we will be our own Terminator.
