amanditis

(medicine) A general term for a psychological disorder manifested as a number of behavioral attributes, including generally happiness, excitement, and enthusiasm for life. Side effects of the affliction include addiction to fine wines and steak as well as fast food and snacks. While only one known case of amanditis has been identified, there is reason to believe the disorder can affect close friends and happiness, usually resulting in general uplift in mood, outlook, and perspective.
