Alanus

A hell-hole which makes people cry on a daily basis. Sometimes it's fun, but generally you question your sanity and the decision you must have made to start studying at an arts college. I mean, it's alright if you really have that death wish. Just... no need to do this to yourself.
At least the food is great. Fear Mondays and Tuesdays though, they're noodles and greens days.

A: "Man, I recently got signed up at Alanus."
B: Dude, I love it! So you're interested in arts?
A: "Nah, I'm just in for the food."

Alanis Ironic

A form of irony that, at a cursory glance, seems to completely miss the definition of irony. Upon further consideration, it occurs to people later that the only thing ironic about it is that there is nothing ironic about it. This, in turn, sets up a conundrum wherein critics are no longer sure whether the original author is either a genius or fucking stupid. Named for Alanis Morisette's song Ironic.

The book was Alanis ironic in that the "ironic" stories the author told were so far off the mark that people had to wonder, given his otherwise sound literary prowess, whether he intentionally used "cosmic irony" to both increase the colloquial understanding of the misuse of ironic and define it in a subtle way, or if he really just doesn't understand irony.

Alanys

A bit stupid at times but very sweet, bubbly girl. She can be very quiet but once you get to know her she won’t shut up. She knows who her real friends are and she knows when people talk shit (she’ll act clueless but SHE KNOWS.) She is very happy and energetic but don’t get on her bad side. Alanys will always have your back and she will keep secrets ‘till the end of time. When she loves someone she will be very open about it and she will do anything for that person. When she’s up to something is impossible to stop her (very impulsive at times). Beautiful girl with a heart of gold.
