The act of meticulously going through and catching up on hundreds of missed messages in a group chat, often replying to older conversations long after they've ended. Typically done by someone who refuses to miss out on anything, even if the discussion has already moved on.

"Bro, it's 2 AM, why are you replying to messages from this morning?"
"Sorry, just Adarshing. Gotta catch up on everything I missed."
