ASSECMIPHY

Pronounced: ah-seck-MIH-fee
Origin: Asexual + Comfort + -phy (from philia, meaning love/fondness)

Assecmiphy is a deeply personal form of love that transcends traditional categories like romantic, platonic, familial, or sexual. It is characterized by intense emotional attachment, obsession, and comfort-driven affection—often including desires for closeness, like hugging or kissing—without sexual attraction or desire whatsoever.

This kind of love often arises in people who experience sexual confusion, trauma-based aversion to intimacy, or deep emotional sensitivity. It's a secure, nurturing connection made whole in absence of lust or classification. While common among those navigating discomfort with sexuality, it’s not exclusive—some feel assecmiphy simply because their love centers on closeness, not labels.

✨ This is a love with no label. Just truth.

I don’t love him romantically or sexually—what I feel is pure Assecmiphy: a deep, obsessive comfort that fills my heart without needing labels or lust.
