озвучка (azvuchka)

Озвучка (pronounced "azvuchka") is a Russian term generally referring to the practice of voice-over dubbing (where new voices are recorded over the original dialogue, rather than mixed with a clean audio-track).

While this is sometimes used by officially licensed dubbing studios, in Russia, the term has become emblematic of lower-budget, pirate fan-dubbing groups. These "команды озвучки" (azvuchka teams) are so numerous and ubiquitous, that they have their own fanbases and entire wikis dedicated to documenting them.

Different groups specialise in different media; while most are known for dubbing Japanese anime, there are also ones dedicated to cartoons, films, TV shows and YouTube web-series or short films. Despite this, there is still a lot of overlap between groups; a piece of media is typically available with anywhere between 2 and 10 different azvuchkas, depending on its popularity.

There are also Ukrainian teams (the term "озвучка" applies in both languages), but they are much fewer in number.
- "Ты смотрел новую серию Человека-бензопилы?"
(Have you seen the new Chainsaw Man episode?)
- "Нет, жду озвучку АниЛибрйи."
(No, I'm waiting for AniLibria's озвучка (azvuchka).)
- "Почему не посмотришь в озвучке АниСтар?"
(Why not watch it with AniStar's azvuchka?)
- "Шутишь? Их заботит только скорость, а качество говно. И рекламы раздражают."
(You're kidding? They only care about speed, so their quality is shit. And the ads are annoying.)

Breadhead

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.

Stink lines

As seen in illustrations or cartoons: Wavy, vertical lines rising above a person, place or thing. Denotes a foul odor.

schmegegge

Yiddish slang word meaning bullshit, baloney, hogwash, nonsense, crock of shit or hot air.
I don't buy the schmegegge about Morty sleeping with Moira.
His version of the story was pure schmegegge.
The whole schmegegge was made up to get Liz a little bit of attention.

eye bleach

Looking or experiencing something nice after witnessing something horrid like a disgusting gif or a disturbing video. Typically used as eye bleach are nice images of whatever makes the disturbed person happy.
"Bleach my eyes! Why is that woman's face ripped off!?"
*Looks up images of puppies and kittens.*
"That's good eye bleach."

Noun. Portmanteau of "street" and "road": it describes a street, er, road, built for high speed, but with multiple access points. Excessive width is a common feature. A common feature in suburbia, especially along commercial strips. Unsafe at any speed, their extreme width and straightness paradoxically induces speeding. Somewhat more neutral than synonymous traffic sewer.
Did you see what the traffic engineers want to do to our street? They're going to turn it into a total stroad!
