A popular opinion is that ):) is just :) or :( with a monobrow.

That may be true but there is another definition for this.

If you look at ):) from the left side it is sad, if you look at it from the right side it is happy.

It represents a personal feeling not happy nor sad. As if the person is doing just ok or has no emotions at all!

If you see something using ):) make sure to check up on them, just in case! ):)

Person1: Hey I noticed you put ):) in your bio are you doing okay?

Person2: Yes of course! ):) means Im not happy or sad I’m just in between.

Person3: I use ):) to show that I feel nothing inside…
