Tool Effect

When bands or artists only releases an album or songs in physical format. So whenever you want to listen to certain album or songs in your phone you have to A. Get the actuall copy of CD, rip the audio into your pc, and put into in your phone (or any music player you desire) B. Illegally download the songs or an album like a chump.

Name Tool Effect comes from Tool, alt rock band, never released an album in digital format untill recently in 2019.

Ex 1. Fuck, I cant listen to One Ok Rock's Skyfall in Spotify because only released in physical format. That is a Tool Effect

Tool Box Ted

Referring to bicycle mechanics. A guy who thinks he is a pro mechanic because he’s watched a few videos on YouTube. He has more money than brains. He tries to work on his own bike but usually does more harm than good. He then takes said bike to a real mechanic for a real fix and always blames his errors on non-existent manufacturing defects.

Mechanic: What the fuck happened to this wheel?

TBT: I tried truing it, but it just wouldn’t work. Obviously there’s something wrong with it.
