A "cringe-artist" refers to a person who frequently produces content or engages in behavior that is seen as excessively awkward, embarrassing, or inauthentic, often eliciting a strong negative reaction from others.

This term is often used in online communities to describe individuals whose attempts at humor, self-promotion, paid political or commercial promotion, or social commentary fall flat and provoke feelings of second-hand embarrassment.

Many political commentators have labeled TikTok celebrity Harry Sisson (@harryjsisson) as a cringe-artist due to his overly dramatic and awkward paid posts that often have the opposite effect of attracting young voters to the Biden campaign.

Cringed to Death

When something gets popular, and starts showing up in cringe-worthy videos, games, etc... just to attract little kids. Often happens to actually good things like Among Us, Poppy Playtime, Alphabet/Number Lore, etc...

Good things being cringed to death is a serious problem that the internet needs to stop.
