2007 Mentality

The mentality that most people on the vlogging side of YouTube had when the site was just getting started, back before being paid for making videos was a thing and YouTube gatherings were just a bunch of nerds standing in a field. The term was first used by Jazza John (rhymingwithoranges on youtube) in a video he did with Ashley Mardell to describe people who treat their favorite content creators like people, as opposed to objects.

Instead of treating her favorite YouTubers like unattainable celebrities, Amy treated them like they were her friends. She had the 2007 mentality.

Barbie mental means something that people have that have a big mental Illness that makes people think they are perfect. Some people go as fare as getting so much plastic surgery they are practically a Barbie doll. People that brag that they are blond fall into this mental state. Most people that are Barbie mental played with Barbie dolls and watched the Barbie shows 24/7.

Sugar mentor

This term typically describe someone who showers you with knowledge, advice, and life experience. It’s similar to a life coach, just a different way to express that. It can also refer to someone who helps you pay for things in non-traditional sugar parent or baby/child ways, such as financially mentoring you by starting you off, etc.

My sugar mentor helps me learn every day, I love it! The sugar is simply so intellectually stimulating!

I follow Teyler Path on YouTube. This man is my shadow-mentor, I religiously follow his tips and tricks while working out. I am forever grateful to him for shadow-mentoring.
