Angry Black Woman

A stereotype in many parts of American culture — including the workplace. Studies show people in organizations believe Black women are more likely to have belligerent, contentious, and angry personalities, an assumption not as readily assigned to other men and women when engaging in the same activity. The ABW stereotype is so prevalent, that people who have never experienced the blowback from being passionate about a cause as a Black Woman, really believe she exists. They therefore define her in cheeky, racist and stereotypical terms as some 'angry "sista" with a bad or "street" attitude.' They don't realize the behavioral science behind the ignorance...and in defining the term incorrectly the become part of the problem.

Black Female Manager: I'll want to throttle my passion for correcting this indiscretion (whatever it is), so that I don't come across as an Angry Black Woman (ABW) in the minds of my associates!?

Woman

A human being who should be respected and treated equally. No matter what, a woman is no less than a man and should be treated with respect and kindness, and shouldn't be punished for her gender. If anyone is sexist or thinks that men are better than women or think that someone was "asking for it" when they are raped, PLEASE go to hell. You are the scum of the human race. People often say that women are "slaves to their hormones" but statistics show that women tend to be less hormonal than men, as they have been taught since birth that they should put their feelings aside just to seem less like a bitch and to "serve their male partners". I am thoroughly disappointed with the human race and how they have treated women like objects and lesser beings.

Independent Woman

Made famous by Beyonce, the independent woman is someone who claims to be able to do it all on their own. In reality, she has a new boyfriend at least 2-3 times a year and never stays single more than a week. She also often gets money from her parents. She also craves attention from online social networks like facebook and twitter and is known to cause a lot of drama at work.

If you haven't lived by yourself in a cave for 5 years, you can't go around calling yourself an independent woman.
