junior tryhard season

A time in a student's high school career during their 11th grade year in which the individual participates in "tryhard" activities. These include, but are not limited to: working extra hard for a board/ officer position; kissing up to teachers for rec letters; and overall being tryhard in classes.

Sometimes abbreviated to JTS (coined by ALC)

A time period during a student's 3rd year of high school where there is an extreme focus on trying hard in classes as well as going for all leadership positions in clubs and activities. It often characterized by extreme stress, many applications, and insufferable try-harding. (Also sometimes called JTS for short)

Junior year

The most difficult year of high school. This is the year where teachers give you more work and they give you random tests and they give you a lot of homework. It’s also the year when you’re finally an upperclassman. And it’s also the year where teachers stop caring about your mental health and they torture you with a lot of work. And this is the year when you realize you’re halfway through high school & you’re about to be an adult. So if you’re entering junior year, ima pray for you because you’re about to go through it.

Juniors

One of the best group of high schoolers. They’re finally upperclassmen, which means they’ll get more respect. And they’re 16-17, which means they are most likely getting their license and they’ll start driving to school. But they’re also in the hardest year of high school & they’re trying to maintain a good GPA so they can go to college. They are most likely struggling in school because of the amount of work they’re starting to get. And they are excited but also nervous because they only have 2 years of high school left.
