A term often used to denote a drink that so citric that it feels as if it’s dissolving or burning your mouth, theoretically akin to if you just drank battery acid.

Slang term being hurt by being hit repeatedly usually hurt symptom beat up

A damaged item or object by age or repeated use

Actual meaning: fish often the fish is covered in batter, egg and breadcrumbs, flour, or herbs and spices before being fried and served, often with a slice of lemon
Slang: someone who is drunk or tipsy
