The WORST people on Urban Dictionary, even worse than that of the Urban Dicks. Just like the title says, these people want to reaffirm themselves or people that they like by writing definitions for their names.

Guy 1: Jessica is awesome I am gonna write a definition for her.

Guy 2: Fuck you. You are one of those People Who Write Definitions For Someone's Name!

writer's block

1) A period of time when a writer's mind is completely blank and drained of any kind of inspirational essence. They are unable to write. They start to bang their head against the basement wall. It bleeds. They scream and shout in agony. And finally, they pray that the pain from this blunt physical trauma and the sight of the sweet sweet catalytic blood finally gives them SOME kind of weak-ass idea.

2) Something that I never seem to have really. Hence why the above scenario was purely speculation on my part. I can't help but imagine however, that is somewhat similar to Dante's second level of hell.

Hey man, I have writer's block. Any advice?

"How about slitting your throat?"

"Okay, cool. Thanks!" *slits throat*

"uhh.. whoops. I kinda meant that as in writing a poem or short story or something about slitting your throat. Or maybe an essay about suicide. My bad."

freedom writers

A movie made in 2007 starring Hilary Swank and Patrick Dempsey. It is based on the true story of a teacher who inspired her inner-city students to defy the odds and achieve their dreams.

The name can also be applied to anyone who writes what they feel, especially if the person isn't big on writing.

1: "Dude, I just watched that movie "Freedom Writers" last night and now I totally want to have a journal"

2: "John always seemed like a dumb-ass, but I just read his journal - he's a total freedom writer!"

A person who creates with words vast worlds either through facts or pure imagination. A true writer that is commited to his/her work writes with their heart in order to bring what is truly their spirit to life.

This does not include those who are Fan Fiction writers only. Only because you're working off of something that already has set palces and characters. However Fan Fiction is a good way to start for aspiring newcomers.
