classic way that runners fake an injury. It's a pseudo-injury that afflicts lazy athletes who use it to get out of running practice. They tell their coach that they can't run because they have "tendinitis."

"I heard you have pretendinitis."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you bs'ed your coach to get out of the long workout. You claimed that you had tendonitis, even though you're clearly fine and just pretending."

First Presenter's Advantage

The supposed grading advantage of a student that has been scheduled or volunteered to present an oral presentation first (i.e. before anyone else). This comes from the assumption that as the teacher critiques each report, he/she grades the later ones with increasing scrutiny until the last student is doomed to a mediocre grade if the report is any less than perfect (this student has the Last Presenter's Disadvantage).

Jack: "Dude, how did Gracie get a better grade than me? Her voice was like a dying cow and she completely left out Lincoln's involvement in the Civil War."

Danny: "She had the First Presenter's Advantage, man. Plus, yours kind of sucked anyway."

Describes a type of person, someone you could end up dating or in a friendship with. The type of person that SEEMS really outgoing, independant, confident, and all that sort of stuff at first, but as a few months go by you realize that they are a life-sucking, clingy, insecure shell of a human being that defines their entire worth through whoever they are with at the moment. I loathe to think I will ever meet another pretendependant woman EVAR.

Neal: Hey man, are you still seeing that chick Gloria?
Bob: Nah man, after a month she got all clingy, just another pretendependant psycho chick!
