Boomerang from Cartoon Network

A channel/former block from Cartoon Network that specializes(or at least used to specialize)in showing classic cartoons from the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. Before the 2014/2015 rebrand, the channel had different blocks, such as Boomeraction and Boomerang Theater. It also used to show WAY more obscure content, like Jabberjaw and Heathcliff. In 2014, it was announced that Boomerang was being rebranded, and later in 2014(2015 in US), the rebrand was sent out, and that rebrand started the downfall of the channel. Although the channel was in decline years before this rebrand, the rebrand itself really made the downfall more apparent. For one, most of the original programming was gone from the channel, such as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Atom Ant, Top Cat, and many more. This rebrand also replaced the classic and iconic toy style bumpers with generic, 2010s style bumpers, which many people were not happy about. Although the decline of the channel has slowed during the years after the rebrand, the channel doesn't seem to be getting any major changes in it's schedule or its programming. Most of the time nowadays, it's Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes, with some Scooby Doo and some other cartoon in between. At 11:00PM is when they actually show classic shows from Cartoon Network and Hanna Barbera, but most people would be asleep by this time, so its kind of weird why they do this. Honestly, it isn't looking good for the channel at the moment, hopefully it gets better soon.

Guy 2 in 2004: Yeah I have, it's cool I guess.

Guy 1 in 2022: Hey man, remember Boomerang? You know, that channel with the weird bumpers that showed classic cartoons? I wonder what happened to it.
Guy 2 in 2022: Oh yeah, I remember that channel. I heard it got a rebrand in like 2015, and now it barely shows classics anymore.

Boomer Remover

A nickname for the Coronavirus or Covid-19 referencing the fact that is most likely to kill people in the Boomer age group. Possibly a plague sent from God himself to fix the mistakes he made with the boomer generation.

As we spend 3 weeks locked in our apartment, trying to protect ourselves from getting sick, the boomers are out there going about their business like everything is okay. Typical. Boomers never listen to science. They'll find out when the Boomer Remover does its job.

Baby Boomer

An American who was born between 1941 and 1955. This generation is collectively known as "the baby boomers" or "the boomers" and was given everything it ever wanted through the hard work of its parents. Many of these boomers grew up to be self-righteous individuals who today are attempting to destroy every well-meaning public service program in existence.

In response to the 1970's oil crisis, the boomers passed legislation to expand the fuel efficiency of motorized vehicles. After the crisis subsided however, the boomers decided to forgo their efforts instead of learning from the experience, causing America to pay dearly today as a result. Their ridiculous spending in the housing market only combined with this folly to produce the economic meltdown that the country knows all-too-well today.

Favorite pass-times include bullying 20-somethings over perceived irresponsibility, overeating, not exercising, spending large sums of money, and introducing corrupt maladaptive political legislation. Unfortunately specific examples would not serve to prove these concepts well, as no set of examples could sufficiently express the sheer stupidity and foolishness that the boomers have exhibited time and time again in The United States of America.

Overall, their generation will go down in the history books as being the most selfish and maladaptive the world has ever known.

College Student: "Wait, so you're telling me that just because I'm not over the age of 24 the federal government refuses to acknowledge the fact that I am financially independent and thus will not give me any more financial aid than I can already acquire?"
Financial Aid Adviser: "That's right. I'm sorry to say it, but the Baby Boomers just don't care about your generation that much... I'm sorry."
