Biology

1)The science of life and my major. It involves the study of living organisms from various levels. From the genetic material (Genetics, Molecular Biology, etc), to cells (Cell Physiology, Cellular Microbiology,etc), to organs and organ systems (Neurology, Embryology, Immunology, etc) to organisms (Chordates, Animal Physiology,etc), to populations and the external environment (Ecology, Marine Biology, Evolution).

2) Classes dumbass people cant pass for shit because they are dumb as fuck, or they don't care, or both.

3)Without it, there wouldn't be any doctors or medicine to save your useless and pathetic lives.

4) Slang for sexual intercourse.

1) Immunology is a branch of biology where emphasis is placed on cell mediated immunity (Macrophages, Cytotoxic T Cells, and NK cells) and Humoral immunity (B-cells, helper T-cells, complement system, as well as clonal selection).

person 2: "Then change your major to something stupid as fuck like art or english"

A type of science in which it's impossible to like every single goddamn sub-subject there is in biology.

Biology is the study of life? More like study of "how to get an A in the class in this shithole."

The most pointless class anyone would ever take; a class that wastes your time; a class that takes up most of the class space, not letting you explore the other classes you might want to try out.

Student: Counselor, can I drop Biology and take Life Studies instead?

armchair biology

Biology research so pointless its only real use is for the people who research it to sit around in armchairs discussing said pointless dribble with each other. Ironically, armchair biologists usually feel a false sense of superiority, insisting that the obscurity of their work only makes is more special and therefore noteworthy. Such research is often conducted in a whale jail and may or may not be cupcake science. In summary, armchair biology wastes money and time to help nobody in the end and armchair biologists are pretentious assholes.

Mark: Julie just spent 9 years on her Ph.D. figuring out the chemical compounds in eider spit from the western Aleutian Islands.
John: Nobody is ever going to give a shit about that in a million years, what a goddamn waste of time!

(Too many of the strippers I' ve met have claimed to be stripping to pay for their Marine Biology tuition. So much that i now believe its a subversive Hint for oral sex. But know one has clued me in if this is true or just coincidence)
