P.A is a 12 step program designed to help the individual break away from self defeating behavior. The person does this by listening to others that have lived the life, and are now on a path to becoming respectable citizens. Also working a 12-step program with a sponsor is considered highly recommended..but not mandatory. Players Anonymous is a program of recovery from criminal addiction for those that want it , it is not for that need it.
