Similar to being Munsoned, it involves having unbelievably bad luck, typically caused by one's very hubris backfiring tremendously months after the fact, always in a "first world problems" manner. The typical minimum value of "Typical Carreras Bullshit" is $1,000 USD or "50+ Mark/Andy/Oliver hours", but this is the low end. Sometimes involving low-level "get rich quick" schemes of limited viability and profitability. Symptoms of Typical Carreras Bullshit can exacerbated by either 1) THC 2) Being Married or 3) having to be somewhere on time.
Example 1)
Person 1: Man, you look bummed, what happened?
Person 2: I just got a call that a car-sized piece of my ceiling caved in....2,600 miles away.
Person 1: Hah! Typical Carreras Bullshit!
Example 2)
Person 1: What's up, man? You look upset?
Person 2: A City I don't live in is suing me for the color of my house I painted 7 years ago.
