extensive shopping in a city shopping district (aka urban hiking trail) where paths or sidewalks adjoining different stores are open-air rather than enclosed.

the opposite of the typical mall shopping format found in a suburb, which is completely enclosed.

Honking House

The garish McMansion on Skyline Drive in Duluth, Minnesota, overlooking Wheeler Field. Famous for its fence cutting off the vista of Duluth/Superior from the public, and the incessant honking of cars as they drive past.

"Wanna take a bike ride on Skyline?"

"Nah, let's drive. My bike horn isn't loud enough for the Honking House."
