Fishtown has the realest ppl in Philly. Everywhere u go in Ftown you find someone that has been puttin them back since they were like 11. Fishtown bouls know how to party and have a good time. Fishtown kids are the best at sports any where in Philly and can fight better then any1 else. Any other neighborhoods are corny besides ftown. No one can fuckin touch us

Fishtown is a neighborhood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where most of the worlds Tony's and Vinny's reside.

The name "Fishtown" is derived from the area's former role as the center of the shad fishing industry on the Delaware River.

Hey, I saw Tony over in fishtown picking up some hoagies and pizza.

Fishbowl

When you place a pretend fishbowl on your friends head while they are having a marijuana trip. Then, you and other people around you proceed to have a conversation in silence by moving your lips and not talking. This causes the person in the fishbowl to think that they are actually in a fishbowl and start to freak out even more.

Joey: "We totally put Brad in the fishbowl yesterday. It was so awesome!"
Ryan: "Aw, man I can't believe I missed that! Did he trip?"
Joey: "Totally!"

One who does a pointless task in pusuit of a fruitless goal. Concept originally created in an irc discussion of a person on grouphug.org that admitted to putting his dick in a fishbowl. It is used primarily to indicate one that is begging for invites to a private website, which likely both has invites closed at the time, and another irc channel devoted to invites which has been ignored.
