The one thing everyone in this world plays on to take advantage of your natural care and concern for your fellow man.

A trait that more times than not, will get you screwed over because "Treat others as you would like to be treated" is no longer a standard in society.

Post-Written Empathy

When a writer publishes a book/series and actually interprets the book like a reader while they were proof-reading and ends up empathizing with their own characters. Getting invested in their own story.

Person 1: I just finished proof reading my novel
Person 2: Ooh cool! Found any errors?
Person 1: I was too distracted, I ended up skipping over the errors because I got invested in the plot.
Person 2: But wait, didn’t you write the plot?
Person 1: exactly!!
Person 2: wow, so you got Post-Written Empathy the whole time?
Person 1: YES, WHY AM I INVESTED?? ITS MY OWN STORY

Empathy

Yeah, you imagining what that cripple and that whore theoretically felt and then trying to make me feel that, is not empathy. It's (what they felt) completely imaginary to you.
