Lack of comprehension

Someone can't read well or being clueless and ignorant the whole time.

me: "NBA and fans called themselves the best of the world for having the best players of the world and opposed Noah Lyles, yet they lost to Real Madrid, it shouldn't matter if the star players are playing or not."
tony: "US haters are reaching, it's like saying Inter Miami should win without Messi!"
me: "Except they don't call themselves the best of the world or world champion though."
tony: "Can't debate a guy with a wii avatar, can't take your words seriously."
